Red Snow

Japanese : Kôro Itten no yuki
Translation : In the fireplace where the flame is burning, snow falls down.
Brief explanation : Snow falls down in the fireplace. In an instant, this snow melts away and disappears. In Zen, more profoundly spoken, this phrase means that we must overcome the common sense: a fireplace is hot and snow is cold. The essence is to melt each other and unit. That is to say, there is no more opposed party: relative concept. If you don't have any evil thoughts, or any worldly thought, it is like "Kôro ittenno yuki". This is very poetic Zen phrase.
